MEMBERSHIP
The Azerbaijan Medical Association is a professional, non-governmental
organization targeting to improve professional skills of physicians,
to support physicians in their scientific and public activities, to
help all physicians in management of their problems and defence rights
and interests of physicians at national and international level, to
build high standard of professional ethics, to establish mutual co-operation between physicians, to support and realise any idea towards improvement of financial teams of students, young physicians, practitioners and researchers.
Medicine of Azerbaijan has inherited valuable traditions abundanded by outstanding physicians of Azerbaijan medical science. These traditions are profoundly respected by all members of Azerbaijan Medical Association.

Membership in the AzMA is open to:
1. Medical students enrolled at local medical faculties, except dentistry.
2. Interns, also resident physicians, attending an accredited residency or fellowship program in Azerbaijan.
3. Physicians residing and practicing in Azerbaijan.

3. CATEGORIES
Categories of membership of the AzMA

1. Physicians:
Persons who have degree of physician, residing and practicing in
Azerbaijan.

2. Medical students:
Medical students enrolled at local medical faculties, except
dentistry.

3. Honorary members:
Persons who have rendered outstanding service to the Association or for
the furtherance of the medical science and public health, or upon
recommendation of the Conference, may be elected by the Conference
to become an Honorary member of the Association.
