The mission of our organisation is to help to improve medical and health services in Azerbaijan , to increase medical education and medical ethics standards, to support health literacy of the population.

1. to improve professional skills of physicians and enhance healthcare;

2. to support physicians in their scientific and public activities;
3. to help all physicians in management of their problems and defence rights and interests of physicians on national and international level;
4. to build high standard of professional ethics;
5. to establish mutual co-operation between physicians,
6. to support and realise any idea towards improvement of financial teams of students , young doctors, practitioners and researchers.

organization of conferences, seminars, exhibition, training courses, discussion groups, clubs in any fields of medical science;
realization of projects for improvement quality of healthcare and scientific research programs;
providing up-to-date information to physicians to standardize their qualification;
publication , translation , distribution of medical literature;
participation in leisure and creative activities of physicians;
participation in elaboration and realization of different ecological projects
propaganda and struggling against drug addiction and HIV/AIDS;
realization of necessary preventive and therapeutic measures to protect public health
realization of different projects on reproductive health and family planning

• grants, given by local and foreign funds for realization of programs and projects of the AzMA.
• subsidies and other financial assistance granted in aid of the governmental and non-governmental organizations;
• profits obtained from the establishments and centers attached to the AzMA;
