2) facilitating the participation of young physicians and residents in policy development and other activities of the AzMA

3) promoting young physician leadership throughout organized medicine.

The AzMA -YPhRS works hard to attract young physicians to the AzMA and organized medicine.  young physicians belong to the AzMA.The YPhRS also is closely working with the AzMA to develop services beneficial for young physicians. The section was formed in 1986 specifically to increase leadership opportunities for young physicians and to train them for future leadership within organized medicine.
